CILCSA Welcomes Debbie Peterson for a Powerful Leadership Experience at Leadercast Live: Springfield

On May 8, 2026, community leaders and professionals gathered at Real Life Church in Springfield as CILCSA welcomed insights from leadership expert Debbie Peterson in conjunction with Leadercast Live: Springfield.
Debbie Peterson delivered an inspiring keynote presentation from her book, The Readiness Reset™, focused on helping leaders gain clarity and lead with greater purpose. Her presentation introduced the concept of the “Clarity Compass,” centered around four key areas:
Direction — understanding your “why” and the purpose that guides you forward
Focus — gaining clarity on what you are aiming for and where you want to go
Energy — recognizing who surrounds you and how your environment influences your growth and success
Action — identifying the next clear move that helps turn intention into progress
Her message resonated strongly with attendees and sparked meaningful conversation throughout the event. A local community leader from Springfield Clinic also shared how the Clarity Compass principles apply within their organization and how leadership clarity helps strengthen their mission and workplace culture.
Following the presentation, the first few attendees to share their personal “why” with Debbie were gifted copies of her book, creating a memorable close to an impactful session.
The event was held alongside Leadercast Live: Springfield, part of the world’s largest one-day leadership conference, featuring nationally recognized speakers and leadership development content designed to inspire and equip leaders at every level.
Attendees also had the opportunity to support Refuge Ranch, a local ministry dedicated to helping children and adults find healing and hope through rescued horses. Donations collected through The Scooch Project initiative highlighted the spirit of generosity and community that made the event especially meaningful.
