Celebrating our most recent WOW Award Winner, Cheryl Churchill of Acadia on the Hill!
At CILCSA, the WOW Award shines a spotlight on individuals who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. These are the people who lead with compassion, step up when it matters most, and embody the very best of care and service. We are proud to present Cheryl Churchill as our WOW Award winner, recognizing the meaningful impact she brings to those she serves.
Cheryl’s nominator said, in part, “Cheryl’s light deserves recognition. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Arcadia’s Admission and Marketing Coordinator. The process of finding a place to go after my recent hospital stay was challenging, as I was in one of my darkest hours and everything seemed overwhelming. I had no experience navigating so many care options. When Cheryl walked into my room, I quickly recognized her genuine concern for my well-being. She was empathetic, respectful and kind. She answered all of my questions and helped me to see a clear path forward. When I told her I had a few personal things to take care of that were causing me anxiety, she simply told me to concentrate on my recovery, and she would take care of tightening up my loose ends. She didn’t have to do this, but she did. Cheryl’s work makes a real difference in people’s lives. I am forever grateful for the role she played in my journey.”
Congratulations Cheryl, you are a true testament to what the CILCSA WOW Award is all about!
